distressed canvases

I just dropped off a dozen or so new canvases at Chiffoniers today. I am still loving the wired ribbon roses, and they are appearing on a lot of my pieces these days. I am also loving the Ranger crackle paint that I used on the cross and the heart.

Special Delivery

I was able to deliver several new pieces to both Feastivities and Chiffoniers today. The cross piece on the top is at Feastivities and the lovely journals and the cross canvas are at Chiffoniers.

Think Fall

It is hard to believe that I am painting candy corns in July when it is 100 degrees outside, but I am. Here is one of the personalized pieces I will have in the fall. This candy corn is eight inches tall and stands on its own. It does not have to be personalized. I am hoping to have some sort of show here at the house once school starts, but we will see how that goes.

I was so excited to receive this picture from a great customer in California. She used the tile she ordered for her daughter's baptism as part of the table decoration. I would love to receive more examples of how people are using my pieces. Please send me pictures if you think about it. I would especially love pictures of the cake stands in use!

I love to pick up dinner for my new mommy friends here. I often grab cookies for the kid's teachers and dinner for us too. There are tables in there so you can sit down and eat if you have time. They also have a little table with toys for the children. This is a real life-saver when you are trying to pick out food and take a look at the fun gift items. Swing by and check it out.

A Whole New Look

I knew that I had made a lot of photo necklaces over the last couple of years, but I had no idea how many. I have been waiting for some sort of inspiration to do something new with them now that I have three boys. I got the inspiration and idea to hinge the chunky 4 x 4 canvases togther while flipping through a book entitled Art From the Heart. Of course I liked the title of the book right off the bat. If you look through my old posts you will recognize a couple of these necklaces.

More Cross Creations

I have just finished up lots of cross pieces that I am taking to Chiffoniers and Feastivities. The top one is a 12 x 12 framed piece, the middle picture is a pile of distressed wooden cross pieces and the bottom picture is a cross in a framed shadow box.

I liked the way this canvas turned out because it was a little different than what I normally do.
I now have my things at Feastivities too and that is where this 12 x 12 canvas ended up.

Live Love Laugh

I love these wired ribbon flowers. I am using them on everything now. I just got them in last week. This is an 8 x 10 canvas that I embellished and it has already sold, so I am ready to whip up a new one.
