More Valentine's Day

I made it up to Chiffoniers this week too.

I am still dropping off Valentine's Day merchandise.

I love these cute little concrete bricks.
There are a few at Chiffoniers and a few at Feastivities too.

Feastivities

I had a chance to make it up to Feastivities this week to work on my space.
They recently rearranged all the furniture and it looks great.

Moving

Soon we will be moving.
I am very excited about our new house,
but there are so many things that I will miss about this house.

One of the first things that I did at this house was to have someone paint on the steps.
These bunnies have been here for nine years now, and I'm going to miss them.

Mosaic Table

A month or so ago my neighbor decided she no longer wanted this coffee table, so I grabbed it right off of the curb.
I painted it black (of course), distressed it, and did a mosaic on the top using a collection of my holiday charms.
It is now at Chiffoiners.

New Natural Life Products

Natural Life now has aprons to match their tea towels.
They are really cute.

As you can see, I have lots of Valentine's Day candy packaged up and ready to go.
Something new this year is the "Cupid Corn."
Otherwise known as pink, red and white candy corn.

Natural Life also has several new tea towels with new sayings
and some with ruffles rather than trim.

I loved this one about motherhood and couldn't agree more.

I think this one is so funny and how I feel a large majority of the time!
This is another cute new one.

Reusing cans

Here is my attempt at being earth-friendly and reusing cans.
After covering the cans in scrapbooking paper and embellishing them, I filled them with conversation hearts and put them in cellophane bags.
Pretty cute and oh so cheap Valentine treat!

This one has a paper flower with a clear marble center that says
"Cutie Pie!"

The larger cans are also full of conversation hearts.

Once you eat the hearts you can use the can for something else.
The small cans would be great for paper clips...
and the large cans would be great for pencils, paint brushes etc...

Roses

I am still enjoying my pink wired ribbon roses, and they are still appearing on a lot of my work.
I keep them in an old spaghetti sauce jar.
I love using the roses on these flat hanging canvases.

I embellished and reused a soup can with a rose.

Bags of lavendar look so much nicer with the roses.
These are great for your closet, car, drawers, locker etc...

I actually sewed these on an old. bag. They are covering up a stain.

This rose looks great on the cross on the chunky 4 x4 canvas.
I used a rose to embellish a painted piece of wood I found in the garage.

Chocolate

I think this is one of the reasons I like Valentine's Day so much.
Chocolate!!!

Valentine Jars

I am still collecting jars and reusing them. I run the jars through the dishwasher in order to clean them and get the labels off. I paint the lids with acrylic paint, fill them with candy, and then embellish them with ribbon, tulle, etc...
Glazed from the Heart is going green!
I have been collecting cans too. Stay tuned for that post.

Nine Months Old

I am making up for lost time tonight.
Since I last posted my baby has turned 9 months old .
I had to share this sweet picture with you.

McKinley's

The boys and I had a chance to go by McKinley's today so I could change out the Christmas charms on the cake stands. Again, Valentine's is simply my favorite.
I loved seeing all of the pretty iced heart cookies.
More than anything we loved eating them!

Heart Journals

I had so much fun making these heart journals.
I think it would be fun to give one to someone after you recorded all the things you love about them inside.
I better get started on that now!

These paper flowers are my new favorite thing to make.
I love to mix and match all of the great scrapbook paper.
I went through this flower phase not long ago with fabric.

Heart Headquarters

Well it is now beginning to look a lot like Valentine's Day.
I love Valentine's Day as you can probably tell.
I have the most fun making things for this holiday.
I finally made it up to Chiffoniers and got all of the Christmas things down.
Glazed from the Heart is now the official heart headquarters.
Come by Chiffoniers and see for yourself.

I love these four by four chunky canvases that can hang on the wall or sit on a table, desk...

These rose ink pens make writing that much more fun! Unfortunately, they have already been snapped right up and I won't be making more.

I have LOTS of candy wrapped and ready to go. Great for teachers, secret pals, carpool moms, kids or yourself...

Great little Love sign that you could tie on a vase with flowers, tie on a gift or just wrap it up as the gift.

I have several new heart frames this year and heart velcro charms for the Celebrate frames too.

The heart cake stand charms are going quickly and I doubt I will be able to make more before Valentine's Day. Grab them while you can!

These little vintage heart boxes are the perfect size for a truffle, a necklace, earrings...

I love these simple vases. What a lovely Valentine's gift this would make with a flower in it and a nice card.
