One Thousand Gifts

Last summer I read and loved One Thousand Gifts!  Since then I have continued to follow Ann's blog.  I especially love today's post! I also LOVE the One Thousand Gifts app. on my iphone.  I highly recommend it!  You can record daily what you are thankful for with pictures and video.  I love it when my boys scroll through my visual gratitude journal on my phone.  This app. has proven to be far more rewarding than any game they could play on my phone!  Plus it is free.

 I love this video and the reminder to slow down and enjoy all the many blessings God showers us with daily.  They are always there, but I am afraid I neglect to recognize them in my rush...

I love the free downloads for the JOY box.  I have used the JOY burlap pendant print out with my chalkboards, and I made these nests rather than the recipe they include.  These are simply made with melted chocolate chips and coconut.  Delicious!

This particular clock hangs in my dining room as a reminder to slow down and do just what it says!!!

I found the screen on a curb.  I copied the hymn "Take time to be Holy" out of a hymnal and modged podged it to a piece of wood.  Finally, I painted the words over the hymn!
