Teacher Canvases

I loved painting these teacher canvases for a friend and customer because she trusted me and didn't insist on a pencil or apple theme.

I also loved hearing about the teachers and how Mrs. Wooten tells every student "Jesus Loves You!"

Mrs. Loughry refers to her class as "Mrs. Loughry's Lambs."

Clipboards

I recently made these clipboards with sheet music, distressed paint and ink. I love the pictures on the clip. Once you clip their work on the clipboard their name will be covered up so I decided to put their darling faces where they would show.

Now You See Her, Now You Don't

I found this lovely tennis player piece at Tuesday Morning in the clearance section a long time ago. I have been waiting to do somthing with it. I loved the black stripes...
As you can see below, I found something to do with it. I LOVE this picture of my boys. I used photo corners to adhere the picture. This way I can change the picture out in the future if I want to.
It turned out even better than I thought it would when I snapped it up at Tuesday Morning.

Candy Canes and a Gingerbread House

Our neighborhood friends have been busy making Christmas Eve deliveries to each other today. These deliveries have been made in the snow. How fun! We made personalized wooden candy canes with these great mini canvases I found at Jo-Ann's yesterday.

The boys also made this great gingerbread house.

Before and After

I got this advent calendar a couple of years ago at Starbucks. This year I decided to give it a new look with some sheet music, modge podge, crackle paint and new numbers.

Fruits of the Spirit

I sold this piece at a show a couple of weeks ago, but I had trouble parting with it. I realized that I had not taken a picture of it as I was wrapping it up, so this was snapped with a phone.

You are the salt of the earth...

I just made these hanging 4 x4 canvases for my extended family members. The salt spoons were my grandmother's and I hadn't used them, but I loved them. They were so pretty and of course my grandmother meant the world to me, so we each now have a sentimental ornament with Matthew 5:13 on it. You can't tell from the picture but there is a small crystal hanging off the bottom too.

I also just finished this large plate for a Montessori school. There are around 28 thumbprints that I turned into flowers. Each flower has the child's name in the center on top of their thumbprint. Pretty cute!
